Post Consistently

Don't be a hermit crab and shy away from posting to Facebook, instead, put the time in to post frequently. Make sure your content is high-quality in terms of the content itself and the caption, for example, use keywords/phrases/topics that your audience will enjoy, for the best outcome.

Create a regular posting schedule that gives your audience another reason to check back on your page, and leaves them wanting to see more content from you.

Connect with and nurture your audience on Facebook with regular updates and interactions with your followers; think of it like a school of fish all roaming the ocean together as a community, aaaaahhhh.

Types of Content

Content that works for one person might not work for another, which is why it's healthy to gather inspiration from other users to help you build your own unique content marketing that'll help you to stand out and be on-brand; that includes mixing up the type of content you produce.

Reels: Reels are fantastic short-form videos that give you up to 60 seconds to creatively market your business or brand while primarily unlocking huge potential to reach new audiences. As well as allowing us to have some fun with them, Reels significantly increase discoverability by reaching new audiences. Here are Meta's suggestions for best Reels practices include:

"Avoiding recycled content, bringing your unique twist to the trends of the day and experimenting with our tools and new formats to make content that your audience will find engaging and shareworthy."

Long Form Videos:

Have you considered creating long-form videos (also known as Video on Demand or VOD)? They give you the flexibility to produce content in various lengths (except reels). To make your videos go viral, it's important to make them engaging and entertaining from start to finish. This way, your viewers will keep swimming back for more and become loyal fans.

To make sure your videos have the best chance of success, follow Meta's checklist and try out their 10 tactical best practices for long-form videos.

Go Live: Livestreams are such a fantastic way to connect with your audience and fans on a deeper level. You can address their specific concerns, answer their questions, collaborate with others, and even show off your products or services live! Personally, I love going live and I try to do it at least once a month. But hey, you could definitely go live even more often if you wanted to! Just remember, it's all about having fun and connecting with your audience. #shellyeah

Non-Video Posts: Did you know that non-video posts like photos, artwork, and carousel posts can be super effective in catching your audience's attention? To make them work, try using eye-catching visuals that match your brand and style, and add some fun and engaging language to encourage your followers to interact with your content. When done right, these types of posts can really help you connect with your audience and grow your fan base!

Stories: Make the most of the fleeting nature of Stories. Your first frame should always aim to grab your viewers' attention. Switch up your shooting locations and scenery to keep your audience engaged while being as on-brand as possible. Don't forget, you can always use multiple Stories to tell a complete story and take your viewers on a journey with you. Happy Storytelling!

Engage With Your Audience

One of the key ingredients is to engage with your audience. It's super important to build a community of loyal followers who will support you every step of the way. You can start by simply replying to comments or messages. It only takes a little time each day, and it can make a big difference in growing your following on Facebook. So go ahead and dedicate some time to interact with your audience and watch your community thrive.

Monetise and Analyse Results

Keeping an eye on your Facebook page growth is super important to help you reach your goals. Don't worry if something isn't going as planned, it just means that you need to switch things up and try something new. The good news is, you can easily track what's working and what's not by checking your insights regularly. So don't forget to take a peek and see how your page is doing.
